Mahindra & Mahindra is one of the leading SUV makers in the market whether domestic or international. This time it is all set to put on airs its five electric vehicles with its own new Indian Global (INGLO) platform. It is expecting that INGLO would provide the base for these Five electric vehicles and company’s futuristic EV models production.
Mahindra has also introduced its two electric brands- XUV and BE. The five unveiled EV models are – XUV.e8, XUV.e9, BE.05, BE.07 and BE.09. Let’s know more about these e-SUV’s in brief.
- Mahindra XUV.e8
It is the first SUV to be launched by the Mahindra XUV.e8 which will be ride on road in December 2024. Talking about its features, SUV will be of 4740 mm long, 1900 mm wide & 1760 mm tall. Also, it has a wheelbase of 2762 mm. it will come with an all-wheel-drive (AWD) system.
- Mahindra XUV.e9
Mahindra XUV.e9 is the second in row of electric cars unveiled by Mahindra & Mahindra. It will go on sale in 2025. It is 4790 m long, 1905 m wide and 1690 m tall with a wheelbase of 2775 mm. Besides, it will be offered in both RWD and AWD versions.
- Mahindra BE.05
It will be more of a Sports Electric Vehicle as mentioned by Mahindra. It would have a racing inspired convenient bold design along with multi-sensory touch. This EV car is going to be sale in 2025. It has a length of 4370 m, width stands at 1900 m and a height of 1635 m. Its wheelbase is 2775 m.
- Mahindra BE.07
It is expected to be launched in 2026. As mentioned, it would be a three-row family SUV, designed in such a way so that it can travel long distances. It would be flexible and versatile enough to use in city. This SUV has length of 4565 m, width ranges at 1900 m and 1660 m in height. It has a wheelbase of same as BE.05 of 2775 m.
- Mahindra BE.09
The launch and technical details of the BE.09 is yet to be declared. As per the company sayings this would be a “head turning” SUV with a finest design. Dynamic roof and solid stance.
Other Specifications
The EV’s Battery capacity ranges between 60-80kWh, sufficient for fast charge of 175kW and provide a charging upto 80% in less than 30 minutes. It would also offer both rear-wheel drive (RWD) and all-wheel drive (AWD) options.
Rear wheel drive model claims to deliver between 231bhp and 286bhp whereas All-wheel model powers ranges 340bhp and 394bhp. Apart from it, EV promised a 0-100kmph sprint in between 5 and 6 seconds.
